Buckeye Real Estate Group has been chosen for the second year in a row to build the 2019 St. Jude Dream Home. Thanks to the generosity of our local partners, vendors and contractors we are able to build this home.
The Dream Home is more than a prize for one lucky individual, this home ensures St. Jude Children's Research Hospital can continue to change the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer.
Toledo native, Danny Thomas, founded St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 1962. This hospital was built in the epicenter of the civil rights movement in Memphis, TN. The dream of Danny Thomas was for every child, regardless of color, creed, or religion to be welcomed thru the doors of St. Jude and receive the life saving treatment necessary to survive , so that "no child may die in the dawn of life".
At Buckeye, we have been given the incredible opportunity to build the St. Jude Dream Home for the second year in a row. Thanks to our community support, the support of our vendors, and the support of our contractors, we were able to raise over $1 million dollars for St. Jude in 2018, and we look forward to raising more in 2019!
